If Obama's support among black voters is below 90%, he cannot win. And since that implies that voter turnout among blacks would be below 90%, the Democrats are facing a bloodbath in the down-ticket races nationwide.

Duh? I know voter turnout is never 90%. What I meant is that lots of previous black voters for Obama just won't bother to show up if they are no longer enthusiastic about his candidacy.

The Democrats are still facing a bloodbath in the down-ticket races.
