From article

...Now comes Obama, apparently attempting to derail the entire process with his assertion of privilege. A principled claim? Or a coverup?

Given that the administration appears otherwise to believe in nothing whatsoever, we’ll go with coverup.

“What’s Bam hiding?”

Crimes and the guilt associated with them.

My guess is something on the order of that both he and Holder new the details of this operation and approved it. That would make them both accomplices to murder.

MURDERGATE

To the half of America that half pays attention to the news, "Fast and Furious" is still a B-rated action movie. This scandal will gain much more traction if we shift the meme over to MURDERGATE. When liberals whine and ask why we call it Murdergate, just say, "Because nobody was murdered at the Watergate."

The Obama team doesn't know who the whistle blower or blowers are and they don't know how much information has been leaked. They are panicking.

Another coat of paint being put over the windows of transparency that Obama promised his administration would be. "Most transparent administration in history" - Video

You might want to fix that attribution link. The photo credit is AP... the story is NY Post. Just a recommendation...

House committee suspects ‘Fast and Furious’ cover-up

...The House committee investigating Fast and Furious has received more than 7,600 documents from the Justice Department, but Republican lawmakers say none addresses who approved the gunrunning probe, who failed to stop it before a U.S. Border Patrol agent was killed and why department officials initially lied to Congress about it.

Dems are protesting, “But he held out longer than any other PORTS before playing the exec privilege card.”

Jon Stewart said it sounds like they are talking about losing virginity: “He held out as long as he could, but he just had to do it!”

I think there is some key facts wrong in this article, the same ones not gotten by MSM or most reporters yet. These are key facts.

In a nutshell, the feds released some 2,500 firearms to Mexican drug-cartel members

The feds forced gun sellers to conduct illegal transactions to suppliers of cartels.

in an effort to track gun-trafficking patterns.

There was no tracking once they crossed the border, or sooner - except to run interference with LEO to let them through.

Other LE agents/agencies were either: not told or forbidden to interdict. US law officers in Mexico and Mexican officials were not informed at all.

The weapons vanished,

"Vanish" indicates you were watching or tracking. No one was. There was no surprise but a plan to "let them vanish on purpose."

The only way they would likely be seen again is when the cartels left them at the killing scene - as Justice knew they would - after the killers were gone.

The Operation's 'tracking' consisted of finding the guns purposefully left after they were used to kill.

This was the whole strategy of the operation - not to track or interdict, but find them after they had killed and the killers vanished.

How on earth does this serve any logical gun-tracking or interdiction purpose? It doesn't. Which means the purpose of the operation was something else.
