The possibility of an October surprise is what scares me. I think that Romney should include a couple of sentences in his Acceptance Speech at the GOP Convention warning America to NOT be surprised if the Obama White House tries to pull off an October Surprise to steal the Election. Head the DemocRATS off at the pass. Disarm them before they even have their Convention. Am I off-base on that? Would that not be cool?

I agree with this. Would be brilliant and effective. Romney has been saying things about the amnesty move that paint it very candidly as the shameful pander it is. I just hope he keeps it up. Romney may be a bit boring but, you have to admit, he’s very steady and doesn’t make many mistakes.
He just needs to pick a decent running mate.
