Elected officials, though, have to at least try to be adult about these things.
“Elected officials, though, have to at least try to be adult about these things”
It’s not very adult to let one part of their lives bring down everything else. Sounds more like an angsty teen. Seriously, anyone who says, “We will not celebrate at a time when millions of our fellow Americans remain out of work, the national debt has exceeded the size of our nation’s economy, health costs continue to rise, and small businesses are struggling to hire” is either playing politics—transparent and stupid politics—or is clinically depressed and needs medication.
“Elected officials, though, have to at least try to be adult about these things. “
Adult? You mean uncaring, unmoved, and unmotivated? Give me a child any day compared to these RINOs!
By the way, Boner clearly contradicts himself because Obamacare touches upon two of the very things that he cites as reasons to be grumpy and crestfallen: rising healthcare costs and the national debt. If we don’t make a big deal out of this huge impediment to recovery being shot down we lose completely one of if not the biggest weapon against Obama.

If there are any responsible adults in our elected officicals, we wouldn’t have been in this pickle in the first place.
