When I was pregnant for the first time and naive, I had a zillion stupid questions for my doctor to answer. After a visit to the local baby superstore, where I bought one of everything, I asked her why there is a special toothpaste for babies. She replied that since babies can’t spit out toothpaste after brushing their teeth, there is a danger they would swallow the floride. I was content with that answer until I went home and drank a glass of tap water. (Remember, I was pregnant). I don’t usually spit out water after I drink it, but swallow it down, where it and the floride goes right to the unborn baby! Panic attack!
Thanks Girl for the best laugh this afternoon.
Oh for heaven's sake. I was born and raised in an area with lots of natural fluoride in the water. My wife also. Our teeth are very strong even at the age of 66.
My biggest problem is breaking teeth by eating popcorn unpopped kernels.
Forgot to mention that was well water.
