This may come as a shock to you, you may have been smoking behind the bleachers or something - but after menopause sometime in their late 40s or early 50s normal women stop having their periods. They still remain women.
A woman who goes thru menopause cannot in any way be compared to someone taking male hormones to change their appearance. Again, the first is part of the health cycle of a normal woman; the second is pharmacy interfering with a normal process. When you take a DNA blood test of a woman before and after menopause, you get the same result. Some man, taking hormones to make himself look more like a woman, when having a DNA blood test done, will come back male no matter what.
These people are confused and it is sad that we try to deal with them on such a superficial level. Changing their looks, does not change their sex and it doesn't really help with their problems.
There are younger women who don’t menstruate either, for whatever reason.
I have a technical mathmatics book that my grandfather used when he worked at G.E.; There was something about ‘mensuration’,whch I believe has to do with measurement. At first I thought it said “menstruation”,LOL.
I was like,”what the hell?”
