It’s not just today. It’s called a mob. Look into the French Revolution. It was there too.
I know there has been a call for “why didn’t someone say something”. I can tell you from personal experience that saying something makes you the next target. This lady got it on a bus. Imagine if that mob not only targeted you on the bus but also in school.
Homeschool. I would put my kids into that Lord of the Flies atmosphere if you paid me a million dollars.
Bingo. The neighborhood can be bad enough, when the inmates aren't in school, but at least you can walk away.

I rode the bus with kids like this in the 70’s.
THey were hoodlums with FILTHY mouths back then as well.
The language would make a sailor blush and they groped every female on the bus as she walked down the aisle to exit the bus.
VERY often, the parents have NO CLUE their “little angels” behave like this at school. Some of these kids probably attend church on Sunday. (That was the case with the hoodlums on my bus)!
I’m sure if the parents of these “little darlings” ever see the video, they will lash out at the person who snapped the video, blame the friends for corrupting their child, blame the elderly woman for “obviously provoking this attack,” etc.
My parents would have WHUPPED MY AZZZZZ if I ever did anything like this. I cannot even begin to imagine what they would have done to me. OMG!

The fact that this particular group required a 'bus monitor' reveals a history of behavior problems. Had this venomous abuse not been aimed at this elderly 'bus monitor'
[whose hands, no doubt, were pc tied when it came to effectively addressing these negative behaviors directly -lest there be accusations of child abuse or abuse of authority],
another vulnerable victim would have likely been isolated and targetted. Resembling the effective-less efforts of blue helmet UN 'Peacekeepers' . . .this 'bus monitor' was placed in a similar untenable position . . . i.e. target practice.
