Here we go again. Is the Constitution merely a guideline to be consulted by those it purports to regulate, or is it really the supreme law of the land? If it is just a guideline, then it is meaningless, as it only will be followed by those in government when it is not an obstacle to their purposes. If it is the supreme law of the land, what do we do when one branch of government seizes power from another and the branch that had its
Late last week, President Obama, fresh from a series of revelations that he kills whomever he pleases in foreign lands, that the U.S. military is actually fighting undeclared wars in Somalia and Yemen, and that the CIA is using cyberwarfare - computers - to destabilize innocents in Iran, announced that he has rewritten a small portion of federal immigration law so as to accommodate the needs of young immigrants who came to the United States as children and remained here. By establishing new rules governing deportation, rules that Congress declined to enact, the president has usurped the power to write federal law from Congress and commandeered it for himself.
Immigrants should not be used as political pawns by the government. When government does that, it violates the natural law. Our rights come from our humanity, and our humanity comes from God. Our rights are natural and integral to us, and they do not vary by virtue of, and cannot be conditioned upon, the place where our mothers were physically located at the time of our births. Federal law violates the natural law when it interferes with whom you invite to your home or employ in your business or to whom you rent your property or with whom you walk the public sidewalks.

No one is above the law.
If babies are dragged across the border against their will, we Americans are not responsible for the actions of the parents who control them.
While he cannot re-write law at will, he’s betting that weakness in Congress will effectively give him that ability.
The U. S. Constitution requires the Federal Government to protect the several states from invasion.
No president can rewrite that.
Arguably, the Executive didn’t seize this power - it was handed over by Congress in 8 USC 1103(a)(3) which grants the AG the power to establish any regulations he deems necessary.
How many Elian Gonzalez cases do we have here from Mexico? How do we really know there are not Mexican children here with their photos on Missing signs on telephone poles in Mexico? How do we know they are not brought here (not by the parents) but against the parent’s will?
Apparently, he has become used to that and just doesn't care; so the answer to the headline is "Yes He Can" (kind of sounds like a campaign slogan, doesn't it?).
“The person who is a makir (same form as the word kafir) speaking of the attribute of a person is one who would outwit someone else to cause them harm. It speaks of one who would reveal the opposite of what he plans to do. The reality is that he is scheming evil for that person. So yes there is the sense of planning and scheming but mostly it means to trick, outwit and deceive for the purpose of overpowering and conquering the other. A makir is one who devises a secret scheme against someone else. Synonyms would be cheating, defrauding, double-crossing, deceiving, tricking, in all cases makara has the sense of defeating the one you have tricked.”
Go back to 2008 Obama campaign and read his words. They are not at the gates, they control them. Obama is as cunning a politician as this country has ever encountered. If he should win again, this country would be doomed to defeat.
All of obama’s admin swore an oath to defend the Constitution. I guess the only oath that is important to them is the oath to obama...
Constitutions are like city walls: unless they are defended, they are useless.
