NBC executives are readying a plan to replace Ann Curry on the Today show, only a year after she became the co-host of the iconic franchise.
The planning which is taking place in secret and has not been finalized is effectively an admission that all is not well at Today, the show that invented morning television 60 years ago and has inspired countless lower-rated competitors since.

J. Fred Muggs might be available.
Maybe people are sick of NYC’s blatant liberal agenda - pro-Obama, anti-Christian.
Old fashion test pattern or today show any difference ?
Ann Curry has been there forever, it seems ... wasn’t she there when Uncle Walter was at CBS?
Always found her attractive. Didn’t need to listen to her though.

I hope NBC puts Rachel MadCow on the Obama/Democrat Toady Show. NBC will deserve the loss of viewers. Rachel Maddow and NBC -- a match made in a Bull-Dyke Lezzie Bar. (Wonder if Maddow will let NBC play the man once in a while?)

Absolutely yes, I find the test pattern much more interesting.
Curry just doesn’t have enough spice.
“Always found her attractive. Didnt need to listen to her though.”
Agreed.
That’s Robin Roberts.
Word had it that Ann wasn’t liked by Matt LLLLauer.....
Wait. What is the “farewell to our beloved Ann” show going to look like? Is she going to smile bravely as they feature reruns of Matt and her in their Halloween costumes going back ten years?
Will she just fade away..or best of all, say “F. you” to the phonies anchors who are throwing her under the bus and storm off the set?
don’t usually watch but can’t miss this one!
I’ve had a crush on her for years. She looks so good they don’t need to use the blurry lens like they do on other female anchors her age.
For one, I could tolerate watching a test pattern for an hour. Today Show, not so much...I
“only a year after she became the co-host of the iconic franchise.”
Iconic franchise? Oh Puleeeez.
And I agree with Sun - people (REAL people) are sick of their bias.
When I saw Ann Curry standing beside Sarah Palin and AC was biting her lips like she was trying not to burst out laughing or trying to look like she didn’t care if anyone noticed that being beside Sarah Palin was the last place she wanted to be, AC became the ugliest person in the world to me. Inside and out.
Hope she is unceremoniously escorted out by security, holding a box with all her professional worldly goods in it while everyone looks on in indifferent silence.
I cannot stand her. Her interviewing style is so biased and nasty. I will not miss seeing her.
Don’t know who Ann Curry is or what she looks like, so this ain’t no big thang for me.
How LIBERATING that is!!!!! I guess I can call myself a feminist now?!?!
