I have only one meager comment to make.
How on earth did America ever get from Reagan to this, in just the span of one lifetime?
The alternative is that Obama knew nothing of F&F that it was a rogue operation cooked up by an incompetent or worse AG in which case there would have been ample room under the bus for said AG Eric Holder.
I promise you he knew all about F&F.
Of course Obama knew about F&F from Day One. We don't have to have his physical fingerprints on the documents to know that. Even the lefties know that he's in this up to his elbows.
The book relates a couple out of the dozen-and-a-half conversations that I had with him (Obama), Lott told The Daily Caller. But they were all very short, cut off by Obama turning his back on me and walking away.
In one of the encounters with Obama that John Lott recounts in his book, Obama see him and says, "Oh, you're the gun guy. I don't believe that people should own guns.", then abruptly turns and walks away.
Actually, none.
<> In thinking more about F&F I've come up with another person he's eerily similar to--Charles Manson. On its face that may seem unlikely; however, if one compares Obama's role in the F&F murders with Manson's role in the Tate/LaBianca murders the remarkable similarity becomes obvious.
Manson really didn't care much one way or the other about Sharon Tate and the LaBiancas. To him their deaths were simply going to be essential stepping stones on the way to provoking a race war and the "helter skelter" he thought would inevitably follow, enabling him and his flowers to achieve power. He was properly convicted of murder because he masterminded those killings, regardless of whether they were done for the pure pleasure of doing them or to achieve the higher movie of "helter skelter."
It's the same way with Obama. He, Holder, and their accomplices concocted F&F to create irresistible political pressure to destroy the 2d Amendment, just as Manson planed his killing spree to achieve "helter skelter." Much like Manson, as large a number of murders and as much mayhem as possible were necessary for F&F to achieve its illicit objective. After all, if those weapons were walked to gun clubs and private citizens for legitimate self-defense, there would have been no mayhem and none of the political pressure for gun confiscation that Obama, Holder and their accomplices wanted. Obama, Holder, and their accomplices needed, intended, and wanted those murders for the same basic kind of reason Manson needed, intended, and wanted his murders, in each case to achieve a higher political objective. Thus, Obama, Holder, and their accomplices are no better than Manson and his were and should suffer the same fate as the Manson family because they've done the same kind of thing.
That sounds vaguely familiar. Kinda reminds me of the Constitutional eligibility question...
Before the primaries we made the case.
They said it wasn't the right time because he wasn't actually his party's candidate. Before the main election we made the case.
They said it wasn't the right time because he wasn't actually the president elect. Before the electoral college vote we made the case.
They said it wasn't the right time because he hadn't actually been elected until the electoral college said so.Before the congress accepted the electoral college vote we made the case.
They said it wasn't the right time because he hadn't actually been approved until the congress accepted the electoral college vote. Before was sworn in we made the case.
They said it wasn't the right time because he hadn't actually violated the constitution until he became president. Now that he is in the White House, they say it's too late, you should have said something sooner!
We've been fighting defense.
You don't win fighting defense against a persistent enemy.
Excellent analysis.
One can only hope that deliberate and malicious preplanned mass murder rises to the level of “high crimes and misdemeanors”...
