House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) said Wednesday that the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee is playing politics with its vote to hold Attorney General Eric Holder in contempt of Congress, an action she said that even she didnt seek as House Speaker when she thought someone was legitimately deserving of it.
I could have arrested Karl Rove on any given day, Pelosi said to laughter, during a sit-down with reporters. Im not kidding. Theres a prison here in the Capitol If we had spotted him in the Capitol, we could have arrested him.
Rove was senior advisor and deputy chief of staff to former President George W. Bush from 2001 to 2007.
Asked on what grounds she could have arrested Rove, Pelosi replied, Oh, any number. But there were some specific ones for his being in contempt of Congress. But we didnt.

Sadly, this female montster believes she has the authority to arrest people. Second, if she does have the authority and someone should have been arrested, she didn’t do her job. Just because she didn’t do her job does not mean her replacement shouldn’t do his.
I just remembered that Bev Harris was only $5 away from having Rove Frogmarched! Nancy couldn’t even get Bev that 5 bucks!
“I’ll get you Karl Rove. And your little dog too!”
Rove has given us three RINO candidates for POTUS in a row. Maybe Pelosi is on to something.
Be an interesting situation ~ but would Nancy do it? Would Boehner respond (as quickly as he did to her request for a women's toilet)? Would Rove show up for a preliminary hearing or would they have to go out in force to pick him up?
Properly read I do believe Title 18 USC in sections pertinent to threats against members of the House of Representatives the agrieved "person" is the House itself, not just the member.
Now that'd sure take attention off the economy.
Pretty obvious Karl Rove has been working for Obamagube in recent weeks eh!
