I dont think that was the point. The experiment was not on the rights and wrongs of Homosexuality, but on the reactions of others to homosexuality. And frankly, said reactions are not always what they should be.

Personally, I don't think there are going to be any startling revelations in all this. From the excerpts in the article, it seems the reactions he got are much what I would expect. Still, maybe his book confirms that. Maybe it gives the lie to all this "its the way I was made" nonsense. After all, if no-one in the Gay community spotted he was straight it kind of proves its only an attitude of mind.

I also think it's a pretty cruel experiment, as any would be that involved lying to and causing pain worry and discomfort to your family and friends.

Maybe that’s why he’s had to raise money for this book because he’s exposed the lie “I was born like this” So no publisher will touch it. Just thinkin’

I don't think it was a 'Christian' thing to do at all. He was in no way acting like he knew God's word - as he violated more than one of the 10 commandments.
