You can bet it wasn’t the operator that tied it off!
I was at the range last Thursday. Usually I like going then because it’s the quietest day of the week—frequently no more than two others on the range besides me and the RSO.
This last time, there were probably 12-14 people there. On a Thursday!! Didn’t pay much attention to what people had but I do recall a woman with a Mini-14 and a couple of guys with Dragunovs.
Egad how I want a Mini-14. I have found several for good prices that I would simply adore having.
But alas, I live in Massachusetts (for now). The Mini-14 is not a legal firearm. Capacity over 10 and a flash suppressor. Some with collapsible stocks (the tacticals).
Never understood why people insist on going boating with every bullet and firearm they own. Do they think there is a pirate ship waiting every couple of miles?;)
Now that I’ve learned they carry them, Wally World can’t seem to get any more of the cans of 5.56. Sucks.
Doesn’t bother me too much. I have adequate supplies of ammo for all my centerfires and more than I will ever use in .22LR and .22mag.
I do wish I had something other than corrosive in 8mm Mauser tho.
