>>>Another RINO with no respect for the rule of law. Adios, Marco!<<<

Exactly! Rubio has made it clear he has the heart of a criminal. If the law were inconvenient for him or his family, he would simply break it.

With that type of warped, moral compass, I’ll be shocked if Rubio gets through his political career without a MAJOR corruption scandal.

I just have to say something to the one or two in our midst who seem to think that the only reason anyone could possibly object to illegal immigration is because of racism. Our objection to illegal immigration has nothing to do with race, but instead has everything to do with respect for the rule of law and with culture (in a political sense).

I think I'm pretty safe in assuming that if France were located on our southern border instead of Mexico, all of the same people currently opposed to illegal immigration from Mexico would be just as incensed at illegal immigration, were it to occur, from our hypothetical French neighbors. Why? Because the French are notorious socialists. They have no heritage nor understanding of anything resembling the American form of self-government. To allow unlimited numbers of them to cross the border would eventually irreparably harm this country. The larger the percentage of the population they became, the more politicians would cater to their desires, regardless of whether their desires were in any way aligned with our heritage or our constitution. Once their numbers reached critical political mass, America would begin to disintegrate, to be replaced inevitably by something more resembling the French system of government they were more familiar with.

If you believe in American exceptionalism, as I certainly do, you cannot in any way favor the indiscriminate importation of people from foreign cultures UNLESS they first pass through a process to thoroughly vet them for incompatible political allegiance, disease, etc. WE must be the ones to decide who we bestow the PRIVILEGE of American citizenship upon. WE, as a sovereign nation, have the right to deny access to our country to anyone for any reason. It's our country.

America is exceptional (or at least has been) because the unique factors that make it what it is don't exist in the rest of the world. Also, as our system places so much trust for governing in the hands of the People, and as our Founders made clear it cannot function without the People having the right moral foundation and political philosophy, to think that we can simply insert random people from random cultures into our system and still have it function as it has is foolish.

We must have the right mix of citizens for America to be America. It's that simple. And race has nothing to do with it.
