The urge to accept Rubio is an urge to get the Hispanic vote. Obama just illegally bought that vote and selling our country by illegally offering Rubio as VP will not change that. Like the black vote—the Hispanic vote belongs to the Democrats. Wasting time trying to buy it for Republicans is wrong , and won’t work.
Yup and it's not going to happen. I speak, read and write spanish fluently. I know those people well.
They (the illegals and anybody who supports them) vote for democrats. Obama's not going to gain all that much by signing the EO simply because many of those illegals that would end up voting for him have already been voting in the past. Illegals vote for the party soft on crime.
This EO is unlikely going to change many Cuban American minds. Not going to change any Puerto Rican minds. Many Venezuelans (especially any of the recent arrivals) that are legal are NOT going to vote for a leftist and there are fewer Venezuelan illegals here. The Colombian legals would probably not be so happy with Obama. He's gaining very little with this EO.
Marco Rubio needs to go
I knew that and my point was regarding the anchor baby issue only. I should have clarified that. As far as Rubio goes I agree with you. Rubio does not appear to be eligible. I'm not sure about Romney.
This is what I believe is the single factor behind the rise of Rubio in the media. It gives Obama the cover he needs on the eligibility issue.
Even the libs know this is going to be a big problem with Obama both for his reelection and his "legacy". They need to set a president by pushing for Rubio. If Rubio gets elected then it will muddy the waters for Obama. If not Obama will eventually be publicly proven to be the fraud that he truly is.
