If the Republicans use Rubio, they are giving Obama’s elegbility a pass, Rubio is ineligible for the same reason Obama is. Not a Natural Born American.

Rubio is ineligible for the same reason Obama is.

How do you know that? We have yet to see what anything that could pass as authentic by Barack Hussein Obama. Yes, I know what you're saying about Obama's parents but I grew suspicious (very suspicious) when they came out with that PDF of layers less than a week after Hawaii announced they could not find the longform. For all we know, Obama was born outside the country and has spent his life with stolen ssn which by itself is grounds for impeachment and prison time.

Let me see the original document showing me where Obama was actually born and his passport. Then I will conclude whether or not he's as ineligible as Marco Rubio.

At this point I have my doubts about Hussein who needed ABC News remind him 3 times that he's not a Muslem.

>>Not a Natural Born American.<<

Rubio, as much as I like him, is not a NBC. Neither is Bobby Jindal, again as much as I admire the guy.

Disagree. By the laws at the time of the nation’s founding, Rubio is a natural-born citizen.

And, if any argument is based on the definition of natural born at that time, then those who argue in such a way must also use the same law put together by those who used that definition.

IOW, if you want the 1787 definition, then you’re also committed to the 1792 naturalization law. What did it require: 2 years residence, appearing before a magistrate (even a frontier magistrate), and an oath (or affirmation) that you’d be loyal to the US.

Rubio’s mom was a citizen before his birth. His father was here much more than 2 years before his birth and appeared before a magistrate a couple of times before his birth, which in 1792 would have been sufficient.

It seems so irrational that people would not see like comparisons between Rubio and Obama as to eligibility. Of course if a a person believes the Constitution is irrelevant as to eligibility it really isn’t an important issue.

I agree. My guess is that the reason the republican leadership rolled over on Obama is that they don’t care anymore about the constitution then the democrats do and had they taken up the NBC issue relative to Obama it would have caused them two problems.

First of all, it would mean’t that they would be likely running against Hillary Clinton and second, they would have ruined Rubio and Jindal’s chances of running for office.

Between the Reps and the Dems I don’t think this country stands a chance.
