I guess I missed them. I don’t look at the Penney’s ads because there’s no Penney’s where I live.
And I almost never see tv ads because I tape everything and fast forward through the ads.
But ... I dunno. Surely there is some better reason that Penney’s is doing poorly.
I can’t believe people stopped shopping there because of some ads.
Maybe I’m wrong.
See #22 — from what I’ve read, it was their change to a no-sales strategy that really sunk them. From seeing the gay mom ad, it looks like Francis may have been responsible for that dismal plan.
I’m one of those people who will never enter a JCP store again because of the ads and their pandering to homosexuals. I had shopped at JCP all my adult life until now.
We got to this point where perverts are given special “minority” status simply by not taking a stand against the policies. Those of us who still recognize right and wrong have to stand up now so our children and grandchildren won’t be conditioned to accept evil as good.
You’re wrong in my case.
It was the last nail in their coffin for me. I dont support the homosexual agenda in any way, shape or form. I will not spend my hard earned $$$ to support anyone else who does either.
Besides, their clothes have been sucking for more than a few years now.
; )~
“I cant believe people stopped shopping there because of some ads.”
I can. Not always as an individual decision, but as it’s put out over Christian/conservative media. I do believe it makes a difference.
I think it’s a combination, with some stopping because of the new pricing strategy and others because of the social agenda being pushed.
Personally, I think alienating any potential shopper in this economic environment where every dime counts is stupid. But then, what do I know? Unlike JCP’s CEO, I’m not walking around with a Harvard MBA.
I sure do hope that this is exactly what happened, and that tens of thousands voted with their feet... right over to other retailers.
I for one am sick of the attempted normalization of abject sexual depravity and its associated mental illnesses. It was the main factor in the decision to cut off the cable TV a few years ago. I finally had had enough of the incessant infiltration of the homo agenda into what should be harmless, non-propagandized programming (cooking, home remodeling, DIY repairs et al). Couldn't even flip channels without passing by numerous perversions. I pushed the Sodomites off the TV along with the rest of the filth.
If nothing else, I would hazard a guess that someone so intent on defiling the traditional image of a company like J.C. Penney probably has emotional issues not conducive to making good business decisions on the whole.
That's precisely what I did.
Two homosexual “mothers” for their Mother’s Day ad and two homosexual “fathers” for their Father’s Day ad.
