The governor is pushing a plan to temporarily raise the states sales tax and increase income taxes for the wealthy. If voters reject the taxes, he says, the state will be forced to cut billions from public schools and colleges.

Although I have no love for the bloated and incompetent union educational system, I can think of the hundreds of commissions and pork administrators that the state would never miss.

And then there is the "pet" parasite idle class.
Then there's the overwhelming invasion of uneducated criminal aliens and their effect on both our educational and health delivery systems.

Why is public safety and taxpayer welfare the first target of the criminal political class?

Ever hear of the metaphor about killing the goose?

I will believe that Kalifornia is serious about its spending problem when I read that Kalifornia has repealed all of its unnecessary gun laws and eliminated the several state agencies charged with infringing my right to keep and bear arms. Until that time, I will NEVER vote to increase taxes of any kind.
