Now, can everyone see what we’re up against? This IS an coordinated effort to defraud America and dis enfranchise the voters.

I saw that back in mid-July.

I watched as google systematically 'disapeared' a half a million hits on image searches for 'Obama birth certificate' over a 3 day period.

Welcome to the party...

"Do no evil google" is doubtless falling all over itself to comply with this latest outrage.

I guess it depends on WHO is asking.

You’d think that even liberals would want an honest chronicle of the online search zeitgeist. If liberals are right (which I don’t think so, but just arguing for the sake of pointing out what would be logical), then in the future they can point back at it, and laugh mockingly at the supposed “American hysteria over Barack’s birth.” Putting it into the memory hole only bespeaks cowardice.

Unless... what’s being referred to here is the way that Google bubbles stuff up to the top based on popularity. So Google saw their system lending itself to American curiosity about the Birth Certificate... and of course they were horrified in their little liberal hearts to see a conservative curiosity being not just fed but piqued. So they did a custom job on it to make it stop.
