They are ugly.
Anyone really training wouldn’t be wearing something around their ankles.
It’s a gimmick and it will sell shoes.
And people are to damn sensitive, just waiting to be offended.

The shackles make the shoes look ugly. The shoes themselves look pretty good to me.

Are the shackles actually meant to be worn as part of the shoes or are they part of the packaging? I agree that I can’t see anyone actually wearing the shackles while training or competing in sports.

I agree that many people are way to sensitive and looking for a reason to be offended. I can kind of understand taking offense to these shoes, only because the gimmick is so ugly, so ridiculous, and such poor marketing, that you either have to believe that the people who designed and approved this are racists or complete morons. I vote for complete morons, but since as anyone who has seen “Ruthless People” knows, “Complete morons are rare”, the racsim explanation is not totally far fetched.
