It's really stupid on the part of the people trying to do this and those supporting it here. Romney has the delegates and to take it away from him now would doom the chances of beating Obama.

I supported Newt but have come to the conclusion he could not win, especially with a cheesy move like this.

Romney has the delegates

As near as I can figure Romney is still several hundred delegates short of locking up the nomination. This despite the Romney campaign and the media doing it’s best to sell everyone on the primary being over.
