I don’t think a letter of caution is going to stop her career. Hell, given that her name appears nowhere, I wouldn’t be surprised if she’s been fastracked to avoid scandal.
Either the Navy let her rapist get off with minimal punishment (long military history/tradition of that)
Or
She maliciously ruined a decorated senior NCO’s career with false rape accusations. (rare occurance)
Based on my own experience and observation, I'm going with option number 1.
Either way though, she loses her potential to be a career Officer.
