In an email Sunday, Caroline Kennedy says she understands the hardships of balancing fatherhood with the presidency — and said she admires the way that President Obama has managed it.
Kennedy, daughter of the late President John Kennedy, lent her name to an Obama campaign email sent out Sunday, recounting her own days growing up in the White House.
"To me, my dad was just that: a dad," Kennedy wrote. "I remember the bedtime stories -- he'd let me pick the subject (usually ponies), then make up a story on the spot."
"It wasn't until I got a lot older that I really understood what it meant that my father was the president," she wrote. "And it wasn't until I became a parent myself that I understood just how much he loved my brother and me."
"I've seen Barack Obama as a dad in the White House," Kennedy wrote. "It's just one of the things about President Obama I admire so much."

I agree with her, and I hope he gets a chance to be a full-time father starting January 20, 2013. His daughters are reaching the age when they need a dad actively involved in their lives so they won’t do something stupid with a boy their age and get punished with . . .

Could be. I don't think she has very much first-hand knowledge of what kind of father Obama is.
Some people who are still around and may vote get a warm, friendly feeling thinking of JFK in the White House as president and father. Caroline may be one of those people.
She also knows how easy it is to get those people to emote about JFK, and tying Obama into that sentiment about JFK is her contribution to Obama's campaign.
So is Barack Obama a good dad? Well, he stayed around so far (unlike his own father), but he may be as aloof and distant with his kids as he is with other people.

While I disagree with much performed by JFK, we all need to remember that had he been exposed to somebody like Obama, I doubt very seriously he would ever have condoned Obama’s position on nearly anything. Especially regarding homosexuality in the military, natural born citizenship, duty in the military via the approval of Congress, and the rule of Law.
Caroline disgraces those honorable aspects of her father by paying allegiance to a literal and performing bastard.
JFK was just lucky he died when he did. Could you really imagine the whole rest of his party and family going one way and JFK going the other way if he'd lived?
I suggest you take time and study Hitler’s rise to power and the tools he used to gain complete power!!! Yes the autobahn, yes, the Volkswagon, yes, compassionate killing of the insane and crippled, then the murder of all insane and diabled people, then the state controlled murder of old people by giving them no medication for their illnesses.
