Fogel Murderer: It was an Adventure

......

Amjad said that he had initiated the murder in Itamar. "I wanted to carry out a terror attack because I wanted to get rid of this life," he said. "There were problems between me and the family. Two years ago my father used to ask me about the studies, and why I smoked, and he would constantly meddle in my personal matters, so I thought of committing suicide. The way I thought of doing this was to carry out a suicide attack in Itamar."

Hakim also took credit for the initiative to murder. "We spoke about another subject, which is the adventure. When we spoke about the adventure, I suggested to Amjad the idea that we would reach the fence of Itamar. Amjad said 'let it go.' I said, 'let's do something that will be special. So that in the future each one of us will grow older and tell his children about it."

.....

Hakim added: "We stood outside the house. I saw a military jeep in front of me. I thought the jeep had come because I heard the gunfire and I prepared myself for a firefight with them, but the jeep kept on going. I told Amjad to go into the house and look for another weapon. Five minutes later he came out of the window with a long M16 in his hand and told me he had murdered a small child who had cried because he was afraid we would be discovered."

They actually expected to grow older and have children. On the other hand, he wanted to commit suicide because his dad kept bugging him. On the other hand, they killed a baby to keep from being discovered (and killed). On the other hand, he wanted to commit suicide because his dad kept bugging him. Teenagers./sarc

I'm right now reading an adventure novel by Robert Jordan. Maybe it's later on, but so far among the many adventures, I have yet to see where Rand, Mat and Perrin climb through a window and murder a family. Maybe it's not in the sword and sorcery genre? Did Tintin and the Captain ever do that? The Hardy Boys?

An Idea would be that Terrorist should be notified that a suicide “adventure” carried out by them would sacrifice thier entire immediate family. So thier sacrifice to Allah and the cause would also include thier family too.

Martyrs will be martyrs...they might even like the idea of taking the entire family with them. No, actually the best remedy is swift punishment - execution, expulsion of the family to Gaza and (what they hate the most) a new Jewish settlement to be erected on the site.

The international community is a strange thing indeed and not to be counted on in a crisis. There is a huge double-standard in this world where Syrians are allowed to butcher Syrians and the Russians prevent Western interference - one can only hope this backfires into Putin's face and if an Israeli Jew builds a home anywhere in the disputed territories. Pathetic, actually...

They’re to be counted on to make the crisis worse and back the wrong sides. Remember Aristide? Remember Serbia? How about UNRWA.

Ohhhhhh, UNWRA, none better than that. 60+ years of refugee perpetuation and self-interest for the Palestinians. No organization tops UNWRA for waste, graft, corruption and incitement.

And to think, I used to collect money for UNICEF on Halloween as a kid. If only I had known then what I know today, I never would have agreed to carry around the UN collection carton...

Me, too. I wonder if G-d punished me with poverty for every penny I collected for UNICEF. I keep saying I was young. My parents told me it was a good thing. But I bet the Big Guy is still POd.
