I cannot understand how Jewish voter could justify to themselves voting for Obama.

Ben Shapiro was discussing that very subject on Heidi Harris' show on KRLA in Los Angeles this week. Ben pointed out that many of these "Jewish" voters are only Jewish twice a year. (i.e. only at Passover and Yom Kippur.) As he pointed out, if you take away the religious tag, all you're left with are liberal, white, urban voters. There's no reason why this block of liberal, urban whites would be more friendly toward Israel than any other group of liberal, urban whites. I've also heard Dennis Prager say that the older members of this group are, in their heads, still voting for FDR or JFK. They don't see an anti-Semite when they look at Obama; they see Roosevelt.

“I cannot understand how Jewish voter could justify to themselves voting for Obama.”

Some consider themselves ‘minorities’ and feel a common bond. I find that ridiculous for a large number of reasons.

Never mind that FDR refused Jews fleeing Nazi Germany entry here in the United States...

Would this be the FDR whose National Recovery Act and Administration banned kosher meat? Would this be the Roosevelt, whose administration refused to even meet immigration quotas to ensure that Jews could not escape Nazi Germany? The same FDR who vetoed Cuba's desire to create large refugee centers? The same FDR who turned away "illegal" Jewish refugees like those on the St. Louis? Or the FDR administration which refused to countenance attacks on concentration camps event those which had factories?

F FDR and his idolators.
