I was probably too harsh, which I regret. Look, if ya tell me yours, I’ll tell you if it’s already been put forth/suggested 1k times. This could streamline and expedite this exchange substantially.
It seems to me that the only practical manner, short of an expensive and invasive deportation program, is to make it extremely difficult to live here such as states cannot issue driving licenses or occupational licenses under threat of losing highway or other related funding that allows an illegal to do business here, enforce existing laws hammer businesses with new exhorbirate fines for hiring illegal subcontractors which is rampant in the construction businesses, remove non profit statuses to churches that give basic livelihood essentials to illegals, treat all illegal felons with greater penalties than US citizens as their rights are not recognized or guaranteed in constitution (otherwise you couldn’t have GTMO), along with the other discussed policy changes such as reversing anchor baby scenarios. Oh, and landlords/apt owners could lose properties for housing illegals. That’s what it would take if people really wanted to get serious about dealing with existing illegals....otherwise we are just venting on a web blog.
