I've actually heard illegals say, "Well, I HAD to come in illegally. You Americans make it too hard to come in legally." It's like saying, "I HAD to break into your house to rob you. It's your fault. You drove me to it by having that lock on your door."

That’s a great analogy, but I’d change it in one small way.

“I HAD to break into your house to rob you. It’s your fault for having all those nice things like a TV and a laptop and an iPad and iPhone. I HAD to rape your wife, because mine weighs 200 pounds and has a moustache. You drove me to do all these things!”
