Sad to say, George Bush and the republicans in congress set the stage for this.

If Dubya (and others) had firmly enforced immigration laws to the full extent of his responsibility as president, Obama would not have such an easy time breaking the law today.

Does anyone doubt that Dubya would have done the same thing if he could have gotten away with it?

Neither party is serious about enforcing immigration laws.

By not enforcing immigration laws, Republicans are stupidly allowing pandering democrats to slowly accumulate enough of a hispanic voter base to the point they will soon have a near unbeatable majority.

Republicans, in the end, are TERRIFIED of the enemy media.

Standing up for LAW and the CONSTITUTION just doesn’t sell as well on Oprah, or The View, as unassailable victims, or FREE S**T FOR EVERYBODY!!

I agree. Nothing lays bare the fact that most Americans lack representation in Washington DC better than this issue.

They simply don't care what most of us (shown in poll after poll) want.
