We have a Republican Congress full of go-along, get-along wimps (with a few exceptions like Darrell Issa, Paul Ryan, and Rand Paul).
We thought Bill (stroke of the pen, law of the land) Clinton was bad. We thought Richard (enemies list) Nixon was bad. Both pale compared to Obama.
Obama takes the incompetence of Carter, the classlessness of Clinton, and the corruption of Nixon to new levels. Clinton ran the White House like the corrupt small southern state governor he was. Obama is running the White House like a third world tin-pot dictator. Why does Obama not meet with opposition party Congressional leaders (like Reagan did)? For the same reason he does not meet with his own party's Congressional leaders. He believes he doesn't have to. That also explains the lack of a budget. Budgets are inherently limiting. A high debt ceiling, continuing resolutions, and executive orders are not.
The political hard-left has always loved dictators and the idea of having their own dictator. They thought they had that with Clinton, but Clinton wimped out a lot and really only got of his own ideas passed (the tax increases). Because Clinton wanted to be liked too much, and wanted to be reelected. With Obama, they have someone who could care less about being liked, and is not going to tack to the middle to get reelected. So the hard-left continue to fawn over Obama.
We simply have to use November to stop this lawlessness. Imagine how brazen he will be if he is reelected and is a lame-duck for four years.
I don’t think anyone should wait until November.
Time to hit the Capitol switchboard . . . NOW.
