Two things stand out here.

1) Romney wants to win.

2) Team Romney knows how to play the game.

This is a refreshing change from recent GOP history.

During the last 4+ years of GWB’s Presidency the leftists savaged him and he just hung there like a pinata taking blow after blow.

The result was the ‘Rat takeover of Congress and then Obummer.

We need a guy who wants to win, who knows how to fight, and who keeps fighting after he’s elected.

So far Romney looks pretty good in this regard.

I have to admit, I am stunned!

I expected to see the same old, "Myth is a dirty RINO Mormon scumbag" posts that always take over all things Romney.

And it's early, so it may well end up there eventually.

But I am pleasantly surprised to see my fellow Freepers actually make the comments they are making.

FWIW - I am one of the "Anybody But Obama" crowd, and will vote for Romney IF it looks to be close enough to matter here in PA.

Until then, I will continue to read the "Romney" threads, and offer little or no comments.

My daughter and I are going to a Sunday morning meet and greet with Mitt Romney. When I get to him I will tell him, "Just do to Obama what you did to Newt Gingrich in the primaries, and history will remember both your terms.
