“What I do not understand is if a liberal individual or individuals who work for a company wants to support a certain issue, they are free to do so as individuals. But why do they insist on dragging their company into it? It’s blatantly unfair to those who may disagree with them yet have to earn a living also and work at the same company.”

We need to make it a goal, that companies should only get involved in political issues when and only when each and every employee agrees with the political agenda of the company.

I agree. However, I wouldn’t put it past some libs to start threatening some employees with termination if they don’t “go along to get along”, i.e., “you will ‘volunteer’ to support homosexuality and abortions if you want to stay employed”-type garbage.

I worked for one company where there was pressure on all of us to be “happy and congratulatory” to a lesbian manager whose girlfriend had a “turkey baster” baby. I resented it since that was not in my job description when I signed up. I was only there for a paycheck, not to endorse the private personal life decisions of any of my co-workers.
