In Florida, I have to have to produce an original issue SSAN card, a certfied copy of my birth certificate,a copy of my marriage and in my case, divorce documents, and a current utility bill to prove my “identity” in order to renew my deacdes old drivers license.

Meanwhile, today there was a report in the local liberal rag that my Republican governor, Rick Scott, assured local farmers and ranchers that under no circumstances would they be required to e-verify the SSAN/ITN numbers proffered by migrant workers to prove legal status as foreign workers.

Because that would not be “fair” to ask them to compete against other farmers and ranchers who don’t use e-verify!

WTF is going on in this country?

A few years ago when my nephew went to get his driver’s permit, we were in line behind an old man who couldn’t speak English, only Spanish, and a small boy did all the translating for the old man.

The man was able to get a drivers license. At no time did he show identification that I could see. When it was my hephew’s turn he showed his birth certificate. Then the DMV agent demanded my identification and wanted to know if I was his mother! Seeing a potential stumbling block, I lied, and said yes.

We are being turned into criminals in our own country while people, who may not be here legally, are given a free ride.
