Feinstein IS a symbol of “the culture of leaks”
Until she and the democrats appoint a special prosecutor to pursue criminal investigation and charges at the highest levels, they are the problem, not the solution

Not “gutsy”, just seemingly doing what she should do, unless it is just to lay blame on Bush.

When it comes to "leaks", Diane knows a thing or two..
In 1985, at a press conference, Feinstein revealed details about the hunt for serial killer Richard Ramírez, and in so doing angered detectives by giving away details of his crimes.

Feinstein rants & raves about the leaks, but her support of Holder's appointees suggests she really doesn't want to know who did the leaking & who authorized it.
Political drama & nothing more.

Washington clamored for Libby's scalp for a leak that did less damage
And he had nothing to do with it

Feinstein is working on new administrative procedures to curb leaks. Violators, she explained, might lose their security clearance -- or their jobs.
Herein, lies the problem. might???? lose their security clearance - or their jobs? How about, 'security clearance and job yanked as they're hauled off to jail'? Until these politicians start talking and acting seriously about these traitors to our Country, this is nothing more than political kabuki.

Pat Caddel said it is Tom Donilan, he is the NSA head. He said the guy is a “partisan hack” a delegate counter and BO fundraiser, how he ever got the job of top security guy he will never know and he is quoted extensively in the book.

Former CIA spokesman Bill Harlow told me the two Times stories "left a trail that Helen Keller could follow," one that leads to "a small universe of people." National security adviser Thomas E. Donilon talked on the record, while other officials spoke on condition of anonymity. Speechless...
