Advance 'Sawing' Team Attacked in Beit El

There is growing rage in Beit El, where residents feel that Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu knowingly misled them when he promised to build 300 homes instead of the 30 homes to be destroyed in Givat HaUlpana. Residents are said to be preparing for "a harsh struggle" over the homes.

Tensions are running high in the community north of Jerusalem. A Defense Ministry team that came to Beit El to gauge the feasibility of moving the homes from Givat HaUlpana by a technique that has become known as "sawing" fled after being pelted with rocks and paint. No one was hurt.

"The check Netanyahu gave us in his promises has bounced," a source in the community said. He added that a senior official in the Justice Ministry told him that there is no way to implement Netanyahu's promise to build 10 units in Beit El for every one whose residents are evicted.

"The prime minister lied in statements that were intended to convince the ministers to support his position and oppose the Regulation Law," the Beit El resident added.

Rabbi Zalman Melamed, the Rabbi of Beit El, issued a letter Wednesday in which he said: “We call on the entire public and on MKs who are faithful to the Land of Israel to join in this decisive struggle..."

So what’s new about this? Netanyahu was like this the first time he was PM and it is no surprise he has again turned into a puppet for America’s “peace process” by systematically ridding Israel of Jews. I’m amazed Israel has lasted this long given how self destructive they seem to be.
