At a fundraiser on Tuesday, President Obama said the debt and deficit her inherited is "baked in" structurally. "If they start trying to give you a bunch of facts and figures suggesting that it's true, what they're not telling you is they baked all this stuff into the cake," Obama advised his supporters.

"I love listening to these guys give us lectures about debt and deficits. I inherited a trillion-dollar deficit. We had a surplus, they turned it into a deficit, built it into a structural deficit that lasts for decades, and -- isn't that something?" President Obama said at a fundraiser today.
"This notion that somehow we caused the deficits is just wrong. It's just not true. Anybody who looks at the math will tell you it's not true. If they start trying to give you a bunch of facts and figures suggesting that it's true, what they're not telling you is they baked all this stuff into the cake with those tax cuts and a prescription drug plan that they didn't pay for and the wars," he said.
"So all of this stuff is baked in, with all the interest payments for it, it's like somebody goes to the restaurant, orders a big steak dinner, martini, all that stuff and then just as you're sitting down, they leave and accuse you of running up the tab. That's what they do," he said.

I thought he and his people said just a few months ago that they own this economy. Now they want to blame Bush again?
Obama campaigned for two years for the opportunity to sit down at that table and kick the other guys out of the restaurant. And then when he sat down, he ordered twenty more steaks, thirty lobsters, five pounds of caviar and a magnum of Dom Perignon. Now he blame the guys he kicked out for stiffing him with the bill.
This is the only card Obama has left to play. The “The problem was here when I got here” card. Romney has done a good job so far. I hope his team doesn’t let Obama get away with this. They need a PR stunt show how much debt Obama has added in four years.
He must have been talking to a group of his homeies because he was using his arrogant “black” accent.
