I thought of our good friend, FReeper ‘Cuban Leaf’, when I was reading this article.

>>>It’s entirely possible that nowhere in North America is a safe redoubt.<<<

It’s a very creepy feeling seeing the same words here that I posted last night in response to another article. God help us.

Live or die, I'm staying here on my ground.

And I know it better than most. I can navigate without night vision on a moonless, cloudy night. I know every dog for blocks, I know every tree, every rock in the creek.

My ground. I'll stand on it or die.

There may just be a defective sub-species of human being, homo servilus, who – much like a bee in a hive – is programmed to crave the collective and therefore accepts its corollary – coercion – as the natural and right order of things.

Many of these people live in communities ruled by Homeowners Associations.

Those who know of this would disagree with the title of this thread.

This reminds me of the online article I read yesterday in the NY Times (linked from FR) regarding the possibility of the good folks in North Dakota voting to eliminate property taxes. I couldn’t believe the brainwashed comments at the end of the article. They basically said “We cannot eliminate property taxes because then we won’t have basic services like fire, police, schools, etc...”. It didn’t even enter their little pea brains that once you “cut the fat” there are puhlenty of other ways to pay for these services.

It’s like they have been conditioned to the nanny state being the norm and I believe that’s what is so disturbing about the times we live in.

I look at it like so many others have posited whereas we are on a huge ship and it is going to take some time to get it to turn around.

Your fate has already been decided my friend. You are one of the 25,000,000 (give or take a few million due to increased population since the orioginal discussion took place) who whose fate has been discussed and decided already and who will be categorized as “diehard capitalists” who they are unsuccessful at “reeducating” and will simply be eliminated as has been documented in previously.

http://www.thenewamerican.com/usnews/politics/item/2455-obamas-friend-ayers-kill-25-million-americans

And, just for reference purposes, that number represents roughly the entire population of:
Australia or
Austria or
Canada or
Peru or
Venezuela or
Denmark or
Greenland or
Hong Kong or
Iceland or
Ireland or
Israel or
New Zealand or
Norway or
Pretty much any of the Middle East or Central American countries OR
The ENTIRE population of the 186 smallest countries on the face of the planet.

I distributed this information to my circle (some cons, some libs) but I doubt if it swayed a single one and know for a fact that it didn’t change anything for at least two libs).

As Dr’ Laura once said, paraphrasing:
Unfortunately, some people are just not willing to acknowledge that there is simply evil out there.

We normally look upon the libs as “misguided” but well meaning people. Many of the rank and file are. However, the bulk of them are lazy, egotistical, lying, power hungry, hate filled or just plain evil and those are the facts of life, like it or not.

If we don’t stop or at least slow this down in November, it’s all over except for the fat lady’s appearance.

If I were to speak at a public hearing about this and ask why don’t people who chose to have children bear the responsibility for raising their kids – which includes educating their kids – as opposed to their kids becoming an open-ended claim on the property – on the liberty – of other people who had nothing to do with it

The ultimate answer to this is that, in our society as it presently exists, those who don't have children will spend on average 20 or so years of their life freeloading on the children of those who did.

So my two kids will financially have to pay not only for the support of not only my wife and I but also for that of one or more people who chose not to have children. With all the cost of time and money that entails.

It’s entirely possible that nowhere in North America is a safe redoubt.

I know of one; but as soon as I tell where it is, it won't be safe any more.

The socialist scum who are always demanding other peoples’ wealth will be the serfs after the collapse. They are just too stupid to realize gubmint won’t save them.

I guess the Bushes knew something when they bought their little 100,000 acre rancho in Paraguay.

It only took them eight years to find this place – and ruin it.

Well, they didn't like what they saw and did something about it.

Those who liked the way it was were used to not doing anything about it, so when something happened they were disinclined to do anything about it.

"...for good men to do nothing."

The only cardinal sin is to commit non-authoritarianism. To state that you don’t want anything from anyone except their respect for your rights – and are willing to extend the same courtesy in return.

"Messenger: All the god-king requires is a modest offering - of earth and water - a simple token of Sparta's submission to the will of Xerxes.
King Leonidas: ... Earth and water. You'll find plenty of both down there. [kicks messenger into well]"
- Frank Miller, _300_
