I agree that the perp should no long waste oxygen, but it does make a difference to me if he was beaten to death after lying there unconscious.
Not to me! Why leave him around to molest some other child. The dead don't molest, can't sue, don't run up hospital bills, eat food or use up valuable oxygen.
One kick from a size 12 cowboy boot by an enraged father would make this a mercy killing. I sure hope that is the case.
