Exactly and I think that may also be the reason for reports like this. In fact I just noticed the single double murder I mentioned was from last year. It doesn't appear that there were any murders in Detroit this weekend but there were at least 8 in Chicago. Despite Chicago gun control)

FReepers need to get over their automatic response to stories like this and start asking some questions rather than dancing to the democrat tune.

A few years back, I had to stay in Detroit for extended periods on business. Walking the streets there, I felt safer (due to my CCW being honored there) than I do walking in NYC.
