Jerry Sandusky's trial in the Penn State scandal opened in graphic fashion Monday with the first witness testifying that the retired coach molested him in the locker-room showers and in hotels while trying to ensure his silence with gifts and trips to bowl games.
The man, now 28 and dubbed Victim 4 in court papers, left nothing to the imagination as he told the jury about the abuse he said he endured for five years beginning when he was a teenager in the late 1990s.
"I've denied it forever," he testified, looking straight at the prosecutor as Sandusky sat motionless nearby.
Sandusky, 68, faces 52 counts that he sexually abused 10 boys over 15 years. The former assistant football coach has denied the allegations. His arrest last year shamed the university and led to the ouster of beloved Hall of Fame coach Joe Paterno and Penn State's president.

In it, a barber who had worked for years in a barber shop just off the Penn State campus said that Sandusky's 'interests' were an open secret and that she'd heard Penn State administrators talk and joke about them for years. *shudder*

People are easily taken in by these calculatedly charming, persuasive predators. Pedophiles entice their victims by gaining their trust.......the same way they get people to cover for them. The judge in the notorious Penn State case actually let Sandusky go free---another sign WRT how easily predators dupe people into being their willing enablers.

YESTERDAY'S WITNESS----REALTIME CAUTIONARY TALE An alarmed mother found Sandusky took her son out of class without her permission on three occasions. When she approached the school, she was told she was being ""unduly alarmed, b/c, school officials reminded her, “Jerry has a heart of gold.“
The mom insisted they call the police. But the braindead dupes talked her out of reporting it b/c “that would hurt poor Jerry,” they said.
The mom reported it anyway---which is why Sandusky is on trial.
