It's actually very difficult to discuss these matters with someone who is not familiar with the US Constitution, particularly the Bill of Rights.

All of us have a constitutional right to call the cops. People who interfere with that right are in violation of our rights and can be dealt with harshly.

Fine then. Link me to that specific constitutional right.

“All of us have a constitutional right to call the cops”

This is a radical misreading of the Constitution. What happens when there are no cops, as there haven’t been for vast swaths of the country for the majority of its existence?

That does NOT include unlawful entry, by means of breaking down doors. You do sort of sound like a liberal siding with the cops on this.

“All of us have a constitutional right to call the cops. People who interfere with that right are in violation of our rights and can be dealt with harshly.”

That sounds like the “constitutional right to healthcare” and the “constitutional right to welfare money”.

In other words, it isn’t there.
