Do we know for a fact that the unions "feel betrayed"?

I haven't read or seen any insider comments saying so.

“...Do we know for a fact that the unions “feel betrayed”?...”

Don’t know about “betrayed” but after having their butts handed to them in Wisconsin and now other states looking to do the same with public sector unions, I’d say they are crawling back under the rock they crawled out from....call it “survival mode”.

If you dig into the boilerplate of what they are saying to one another, they absolutely, positively feel betrayed.

Card Check was their Holy Grail. It was what they were going to use to infuse their coffers with dues from millions of new members...unwilling if necessary. It was going to transform and revive the union movement back to where it was in the 1930's. Instead they are staring extinction in the face, and they are blaming Obama because he refused to push for Card Check.
