I have heard that the pizza places, such as Domino’s and Pizza Hut, have “redlined” certain areas, and do not deliver to certain neighborhoods.

Apparently it’s legal for them to do so, as of now. I can imagine that passing laws against a business practice such as that becoming a liberal cause celebre. You know, discrimination and bigotry and all that, to just assume that certain neighborhoods are dangerous.

I've never heard anyone accuse insurance actuaries of being racist.

Pizzerias in my area (bordering Newark NJ) don’t deliver there; they list where they deliver, and Newark is noticeably absent.

Even Chinese restaurants in Newark give you the food through bulletproof glass, and have to tables - it is all “to go”.
