Homosexuality is a personality disorder, or at least that is what it used to be labeled.

As to whether homosexuality is voluntary, essentially a “choice”, is questionable. The suicide rate among homosexuals and transgenders is high, indicating that many afflicted are not happy with themselves or their present situation. People do not usually choose to be miserable, and try to find a way to avoid misery.

It is a disorder that a person can correct, if willing. Many have done so.

I have a very hard time reading some of these comments intoning homosexuality is genetic. However, psychological make up can be genetic. Homosexuality is simply a CHOSEN behavior. Loving, liking or a sexual desire is an ACT. You chose it. All people have unnatural psychological "feelings." Being selfish, and choosing to act on depraved unnatural "feelings" is a danger which leads to turpitude.

Everyone is born with the propensity to LIE, STEAL, CHEAT etc...to act on these UNNATURAL, selfish feelings is perverse.

Let's be clear here..

There is a canyon wide difference between attraction and action. Let's just be frigg'n clear about that. There's sex and then there's attraction.

You can be attracted to.... howler monkeys. But you're not a freak until you act on that attraction.

Homo-sex is a choice. Just like all sex acts are.

And just because they have an attraction doesn't mean they have to act on it.

Exactly so. Take away the actual sex and what are gays? Two REALLY close friends. So if Politicians are legislating based on sex, why not all types of sex?

Ponder this. There are far more hetros taking part in BDSM than there are homosexuals having homosexual sex. Why does one type of sex warrant the golden political ticket while the other far more ‘popular’ type of sex get ignored? There is no logical way the GLBT crew can answer that question.

People taking part in BDSM can use every single argument that the Homo crowd uses to demand special ‘rights’, yet they do not. The same applies to any sexual ‘fetish’. People snicker when I say this but look at it logically. I’m totally serious.
