If Straus gets elected speaker in the upcoming session there will be a political bloodbath in the next election cycle the likes of which few have ever seen.
I think he’ll be hard to beat with his power of appointment and the democrats with some 55 +- votes. Maybe it will cause a bloodbath and that wouldn’t be all bad.
I’m not a proponent of term limits but I’m slowly going in that direction. It seems the politicans view service as a lifelong career.
