Responding to Obama's statement that the private sector was doing fine, he added: "Mr. President, I've got a message for you: The private sector is not doing well when 23 million Americans are unemployed and underemployed in this great country. This president, the private sector is so foreign to him he might need a passport to actually go visit and he might need a translator to help him talk to folks in the private sector."
Jindal, who has not yet campaigned with Romney, grabbed his chance Friday to try on the attack-dog role traditionally given to running mates. He called Obama "themost liberal, most incompetent president in the White House since Jimmy Carter," and accused him of staying out of the Wisconsin recall election this week out of cowardice.

Neither my father nor I liked FDR, however, we had to admit that he did a great job of managing the victory over the Axis powers in World War II. Most importantly, he found great generals and admirals and did not interfere with their actions.

Sorry, but Clinton was worse. Clinton's only saving grace was the jobs created by the tech boom and Y2K, not having to budget for the Cold War, and
punting the expensive WOT to the next administration. Take away the tech boom, add the cost of the WOT, and Clintonomics would look a lot like Obamanomics.
At least, when presented with the opportunity, Obama made the call that got Bin Laden. That was more than Clinton did.

Your post #12 is logically correct but unfortunately there is nothing resembling logic taught in the govschools and logic never appears in the media so many people will get this wrong.

No offense Bobby, but you were 5 years old when Carter was elected, versus myself who got to vote against this slimely leftest bastard twice.
Difference was Carter was an incompetent, idiot liberal. The bozo in there now is a socialist despot hell bent on destroying this country.
Apples and Oranges man.!!!!

MacArthur wasn’t ready to make the same admission, and I’m afraid I side with him. George C. Marshall was a disaster promoted by Eleanor rather than FDR, and Ike got the leadership because no one then living knew European terrain better than he (who, as a lieutenant, had supervised burials of Americans after WWI). And, of course, FDR had all (or nearly all) Churchill’s hard-won intelligence-data.

"...the most liberal, most incompetent president in the White House since Jimmy Carter,..." If Jindal actually said this, it would seem to disqualify him for VP if that VP has to be a Conservative who is aware of current events. For example:
- obamao is not a "liberal". He is a radical left-wing "socialist" devoted to the teachings of KM;
- Based on the shackles of tyranny he has slipped easily onto the American sheeple, he cannot be characterized as "incompetent". He came with a plan and has executed crucial parts of it. Even in the face of impending defeat this year, he continues to implement his plan; and,
- IMHO, both G.B.s were far more incompetent...In spite of their supposedly "Conservative" credentials, they both fumbled badly when it came to protecting, presenting or promulgating true Conservative principles and the former Constitution.
