What a rare moment...agreeing with Alan Dershowitz.

You might be surprised. Study him a bit more. He's actually only a liberal idiot about 50% of the time. He's a strong anti-Muzzie and pro-national defense.

I’m an attorney (reformed prosecutor, actually) and Dershowitz used to nauseate me. However, if I were accused of a crime I didn’t commit he’s at the top of the list of the people I’d want next to me in the Courtroom.

What Dershowitz is absolutely implacable about is the idea that the government is bound by its own rules. He is very strong on the Rule of Law. Might have something to do with his Jewish historical perspective; he knows what happens when a government no longer recognizes the Rule of Law.

I might up the percentage to 85% but otherwise I agree. The man has a set of core beliefs and turns on the leftists in a flash when they disagree with his beliefs.

Going back to Clinton in the White House, I'll wager there have been eight to ten times that a Dershowitz statement has left people on FR posting "I never thought I would agree with Dershowitz, but . . ."
