Regarding your "opportunity to dump Romney" at this summer's convention, I admit to having wet dreams about some hero conservative (i.e. Sarah Palin) strolling onto the convention floor like some Wild West gunslinger and wrestling the nomination away from Mitt Romney.

But like all good wet dreams, I end up having to take a shower and come back to reality.

As much as many of us would love to see it happen, there is no plausible scenario in which Romney is denied the nomination this summer. He's got the necessary delegates (fair and square), he's got the GOP machine behind him and most importantly, he's raising money for the GOP like no tomorrow. He's even out-raising Obama.

Time to face up to facts. We lost this battle. Romney is going to be the guy. Even in Utah, the most conservative state in the union, Romney blew away his opponents in their state caucus (Gingrich and Santorum were still in the race at the time).

Maybe we get a real conservative nominated next time around. I know it sucks but it's the hand we've been dealt. So unless we can organize quickly enough to put together a credible third party alternative, it will do us no good to play Linus in the pumpkin patch. The Great Pumpkin ain't coming this year.

Sorry brother...

Im not going to support the GOP nominating a socialist. THAT is something that is NEVER going to happen.

I, and plenty of others, are prepared to go to war against the GOP over this. We will see if that comes to pass. You better hope “the great pumpkin” is real. ;)

NO MORE RINOS
