“””Get rid of Detroit, and Michigan is as conservative as any Southern state.
The same could be said for Chicago/Illinois. Illinois is an AG state and Chicago runs the entire state....so sad.”””””””
‘’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’
Same thing with Minnesota/ Minneapolis St. Paul or Wisconsin/ Madison Milwaukee or many other states. The libs congregate in the big cities in all states.
Shock to whom?
His dad was one of the most liked governors in the past 50 years.
He really ought to be in the high 70s as much as we like the Jerry Ford types over here.
the very idea Obama could win will be openly mocked by all but the most hard core leftist pundents. The press will turn on him, since the blood is in the water, and as defeat is undeniable, the more desperate the man-child will become and act, and the more desperate he acts, the lower his numbers will go.
And by October 1st let the race riots begin. Mayhem will ensue in the inner cities and O will claim he is the only one to save the union.
The GOP didn't nominate Romney. The primary voters did. There certainly were conservatives who entered the race and other conservatives who chose not to.
That could be said of many “blue” states(IL, MA , OR, WA, PA, NY , ME ,etc.)
The democrat voting base is all in the big cities:
Chicago, Boston, Seattle, NYC, both Portlands, Philly and Pittsburgh. I grew up in western NY. We always wanted to split off everything south of Westchester county and make it a different state.
Even in extremely liberal states like Mass, if you go outside of the 495 beltway, most people are Republican.
Barrack Hussein Obama? Isn’t that Arabic for James Earl Carter?
Bunch of racists! /s
Could you please vote out Debbie Stabmenow as well, we will try to vote out Menendez in NJ.
Here is the question I must ask all FReepers - How does going to war with Iran benefit Obama? How does a DJ collapse benefit Obama? How does general collapse in Europe benefit Obama? An NK missile hit in Los Angeles? Terror attack in Washington or NY?
Look, there is no catastrophe imaginable that can befall the American voter that would possibly benefit Obama. At this point in his failed presidency, anything disastrous would be laid at his feet and his alone - that’s how unpopular he is.
This isn’t Poppy Bush where a Gulf War is initiated and even a democrat feels obligated to rally round the Chief.
Obama is despised and there is a big difference between being unpopular and being hated.
Michigander ping.
Look, folks, Obama is toast and he will be taking a good portion of the Democrat Party down to defeat with him. My goodness, even a cynic like me is beginning to think maybe NY & Calif. could soon be in play. The Tea Party folks are ticked off and the industrial union blue collar workers are ticked off at Obama and the public service union goons who are destoying the labor movement in the USA!!!
Obama is going to get mighty lonely soon!!! The Latinos will soon broom him. Only Black Americans will hang with him and continue to fail in American society. Although, I really do believe many Blacks here in America and around the world cannot stand neither Obama or his wife Michelle!!! The “dirt bag Obama’s” have thrown most Black Americans under the bus sad to say!!! Who knows, maybe they will wake up and broom Obama, the NAACP and the CBC, losers and greedy politicans, all!!! If not, American Blacks will remain adrift at sea for many, many years to come!!! Sad....but true!!!
Like this?
Or Santorum but I wouldn’t count to heavily on Mitt winning Michigan.
A perfect example of Michigan running out of other people’s money and perhaps for a change found willing to vote based on that fact.
“Get rid of Detroit, and Michigan is as conservative as any Southern state.”
Get rid of Detroit, Philly, San Fransicko and NY City and there will never be another democrat elected.
I’m not saying any of those items will benefit Obama, specifically.
What I am saying is that a zillion things - some big, some small - could change in the next six months that could alter any number of votes.
Polling is a snapshot of how people feel at the moment the question is asked. It has very little bearing on how they will feel in six weeks and much less bearing on how they will feel in six months.
Things change. Opinions change.
As much as I hope it happens, I can’t imagine a situation in which Obama loses New York or California. There are simply too many “gimme my free benefits” voters in both states for them to stay home or switch sides.
Simple. You can’t fix stupid.
