A military officer from Jordan explained to me the mindset of the Arab. He is mad because he has no school and no hospital. So a school and a hospital gets built. Then he gets mad because the price of fuel rises. He goes with his other mad cohorts and burns down the school and the hospital he wanted. So he ends up no better off for all his emotion.
Perfect description of the same mindset of the #Occupiers here, most of the “entitlement” crowd, and many (so called peace loving) Liberals. If they don’t get everything they want...they set out to destroy everything there is.
In WW1, the Turkish general in Iraq asked for a temporary truce so the Brits and the Turks could join forces to wipe out the Arabs. The Arabs were killing the wounded of both sides and stripping the dead.
