The Paulistinians have a right to be angry.

Like the left, they are perpetually angry. Yeah, the state party apparatus was a little heavy handed in dealing with them. Just like they were a little heavy handed in thinking a 6% primary vote should result in 30 of 46 (65%) of Louisiana's delegates.

They can take their fight to the convention and challenge the state GOP organization. They can make it all about Ron Paul's ego rather than trying to do something worthwhile like giving states which actually deliver electoral votes in the fall to the GOP a lot more delegates and those which consistently fail to do so a lot less.

How old are you anyway? Did you even read my Freeper profile page about something similar which happened to my candidate in 1976 and how we dealt with it?

Heavy handed? It was pretty underhanded. Also, Ron Paul got 6% in a wide open race. After the race narrowed, delegates who supported him got a ton. The argument that this is some sort of coup isn’t fair.

If Republicans had a successful GOTV drive in Cali and they elect an unpopular guy/gal, it wouldn’t be a coup or improper.

If you don’t like the Ron Paul delegates... Vote against them.
